Ever wish you had a low numbered license plate like T8 or V2? Enter the Massachusetts Plate Lottery for your big chance to win these plates or 138 other low numbered Massachusetts license plates.

The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles expects to have 140 low number plates available for the low number plate lottery that will be held in August. If you want a chance to win one of these plates, click here for the entry form which you should complete and mail to the RMV.

The eligibility requirements are:

• Only one entry per applicant.
• An applicant must be a Massachusetts resident with a currently registered and insured passenger vehicle.
• Massachusetts Registry employees and immediate families are not eligible.
• Entry form must be legible and printed in ink.
• Requests for specific plate numbers will not be honored. Plates will be awarded in the order in which they are listed on the 2013 Plate List.
• An applicant's registration and license cannot be in a non-renewal, suspended, or revoked status.
• An applicant cannot have any outstanding excise taxes, parking tickets, child support, warrants, or unpaid fast lane violation.
• Entry forms must be mailed and postmarked no later than August 12, 2013. Hand delivered forms will not be accepted.
• Lottery winners will be announced by September 15, 2013. Results will be available on the RMV website.
• Winners will be notified by the RMV in writing with instructions on how to transfer their current registration to the new lottery plate. Winners have until December 31, 2013 to swap plates. Unclaimed plates will be forfeited after December 31. Plates will be registered to the winning applicant only.
