Personal Lines Account Manager

 

 As a Personal Lines Account Manager, your primary responsibility is to provide front line support for our customers.   

Responsibilities

  • Design, present and help clients implement a sound insurance plan including making recommendations for all lines of business.
  • Analyze insurance sections of contracts, leases and other documents to identify compliance issues, offer solutions and additional costs to clients.
  • Complete and review applications, renewal requests and endorsements for compliance with underwriting authority and guidelines.
  • Consistently provide superior customer service by promptly and thoroughly responding to our clients’ needs and requests.
  • Participate in professional development to enhance skills and develop core competencies.
  • Build effective relationships with clients as the first point of contact and owner of coverage or process questions and troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Personal Lines account management preferred.
  • Property & Casualty Licensed preferred or obtain within 3 months of employment.
  • CISR OR CIC designation preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

 

Personal Lines Growth Leader

As the Personal Lines Growth Leader, it is your primary responsibility to proactively identify and overcome obstacles hindering the region’s progress towards achieving growth and profitability targets. Additionally, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our personal lines team members throughout the New England offices deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients.

Your role extends beyond management; you are a mentor and coach, inspiring your team to reach their full potential. Embodying the essence of the Alera Group brand, you lead by example and set a high standard for excellence.

Furthermore, you are constantly on the lookout for new opportunities that align with Alera Group’s vision, actively pursuing avenues that drive the company towards sustainable and profitable growth.

In summary, as the Personal Lines Growth Leader, you play a vital part in steering the team towards success, both in achieving organizational goals and fostering a culture of excellence and service.

Responsibilities

  • You lead personal lines revenue growth by example and actively work to attract and develop other internal leaders.
  • You develop an efficient and effective personal lines operation in the region that guarantees delivery of services, high client retention, and a flow of new business into each location.
  • You develop relationships with Alera Group offices in New England and the Northeast region to maximize cross-sell opportunities as well as help to establish and implement best practices.
  • You are proficient using all the IT programs and resources pertinent to your position and you leverage technology, tools, resources and information to maximize your efficiency and that of other team members.
  • You participate in personal lines meetings in the Alera Group community to understand and incorporate best practice examples from across the country.
  • You evaluate carrier books to ensure we are maximizing revenue potential, making changes where appropriate and actively work to develop carrier relationships.
  • You ensure plans to achieve company objectives are implemented and followed through to make sure stated goals are reached.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Required
  • Insurance Producer License
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized
  • Financial and Risk Assessment Skills
  • Ability to create and cultivate relationships with clients, service/support team, community and company partners
  • Thought leadership
