Meatballs - like the ones in Little Italy
Great meatball recipe that is uncomplicated. I make a big batch of them and then put them in the freezer in packages of 6 to be used at later times. Best way to cook meatballs is on a cooling rack in a baking pan (lined with foil for easy clean up) so any fat drains into the pan.
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
1 pound ground pork
2 ½ teaspoons minced garlic
2 ¼ seasoned bread crumbs
1 ½ cups grated parmesan cheese
Parsley
3 eggs
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons olive oil
Combine bread crumbs and cheese with remaining ingredients and roll into evenly sized meatballs (about 2 ounces each)
Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes
