Your Guide to Winter Activities in Massachusetts 

Winter takes some getting used to.  While there are great recreational opportunities in winter, we're usually content early in the season to hunker down and just try to stay warm.  And yet I heard the other day that the average American gains 10 pounds between Thanksgiving and Christmas.  If ever there was a time to get out of the house, it's during this stretch.
