Gordon Insurance recently received a Community Service Award From the Norwell Chamber of Commerce.

Andrew G. Gordon, Inc. was one of our sponsors for the Friends of the Library spring fundraiser Appraisal Day. Their participation, however, exceeded mere monetary support.
Geoff Gordon, on his own initiative, publicized our event in Gordon’s winter newsletter, and on The Town of Norwell website,www.norwellma.com. Always responsive to any of our questions, always taking the extra step to help us, the Gordon Agency and its staff put words into action and made its support of The Friends and the Norwell Public Library a vital part of our event.
Geoff also does other community work behind the scenes, including teaching the Confirmation class of 8th graders at UCC Norwell, on Main Street, coaching Youth Soccer for over a decade, and helping to organize and run the Norwell Boosters Tennis tournament, where over $4,000 was raised for Norwell’s Boosters this fall. Geoff really loves this town, Norwell.
